Ok guys I just recently moved up to Sacramento and am I dying to go out for a ride the only problem is where the hell are all the trails? I see tons of guys with there off road machines all dirty and its driving me nuts. I dont want to have to drive to far but if I have to I will. Anything around here thats closer than the Rubicon area?:awais:

I was born and raised in Granite Bay (30 minutes from Sacramento)
It might be helpful to hit up a local dirt bike shop. My buddies and I used to motocross at Prairie City and there were private trails for 4x4's only that looked pretty cool.....so a dirt bike shop might be able to point you in the right direction.
Secondly, it is ALWAYS worth the trip up I-80 into Donner and Tahoe. Just my 2 cents.

I've been to Prairie City once. Good area for OHV use, but it's limited if you're taking the 4Runner. The area for vehicles is small compared to the area dedicated to ATVs and motorcycles. But if you're close, it's worth the trip for a couple hours.
