Off-Roading....?

Hey guys,

I live in the San Fransico/Sacramento area in California, and I wanted to see if anyone knew of any good/light places to go off roading at? Just like a day trip, you know? I only have a V6 2WD, sad :moping: I know, wish more than anything it was 4x4, but such is life. Anyway, I've really wanted to take it off road for some fun, but don't know where! Any ideas, or neat places to take the family for an afternoon picnic?

Looks like a really neat place and a great off-roading adventure, thank you for the invite! Unfortuantly, tomorrow is no good, hubby is going to clay bar my truck, then the next day wax it, after that it should be good to go. Maybe another time! =)
 
Be sure to check out toyota120.com. bunch of us bay area people are always getting together at Hollister and other places for meet and greets.

Yeeeeees, must make sure you get it nice and clean before taking it out to get scratched by manzanita and dinged by rocks. :D

Well, I talked to my stepdad last week and told him I may change my b-day plans this year to a day of off roading in June at the place in Sacramento! He has an '07 SR5, same as me, and I know he would love it. But a day in China Town is tempting too.... Oh decisions, decisions! :shrug:

I be down.. Is been ages since I been there and maybe get together with the bay guys to celebrate it together?

Lol, welllll, unless you guys are into tea tasting and shopping...:jump: it probably would not be the most exciting day for you, haha! Hubs won't even go with me, but luckily I have a pretty cool step-dad who's up for anything. =D
 
lol.. tea tasting and shopping.. something my girlfriend drags me to do.. but is quite fun though actually..

Hmmm.... I don't know, that's a really tough question! LOL. Guess it will depend on how much I'm craving real chinese food next month, or getting my truck nice and dirty. If it's a dirty truck, I'll make sure to get on here and let you guys know for sure! :wink2:
 
that is an tough one lol.. which part of norther cali are you located? what chinese food are you carving?
