I went to basic at Jackson too...not one bite...even slept on the ground bite free...maybe difference in time of year....
And to you who think that females shouldnt be in the military "Shame the **** on you" you are generalizing all females in one catagory without considering that some might take pride in doing their jobs well or maintaining proffesionalism and/or trying to hold their own despite the negativity surrounding them from people like you...females might not be genetically or physically built the same as you or have the same obviously narrow mined mentality as you but have many things to offer in areas you maybe lacking in...isnt the idea to be strong as a whole and/or combined force therefore requiring a level of diversity which you dont believe should exist...I dont even know why Im validating your statement with a response but I am because I hear this ****ed up **** everyday from people like you and you wonder why females are such hard asses...hearing this crap makes me want to be a cold hearted nazi ***** but I have enough self restraint, integrity and moral obligation to know my place, rank and duty and do the best I can to treat others with the respect and decency that I want to be privy too despite the fact Im a "SPLIT TAIL"...where is the incentive to try and give you best effort when regardless of your occupational or physical output your always scrutinized or biasly catagorized...

There are a lot of fields where females excell over men. I am just saying, as a whole, the Army should perhaps reconsider having co-ed training. I watched this the whole time I was in. Females being favored for this reason or that. I have seen a lot of messed up things happen, and because a female did, it was swept under the rug.
I saw one female almost be the direct result of loss of dozens of lives, and loss of millions of dollars worth of equipment...and it was swept. She actually walked away with a bronze star when we left. I saw another soldier the next week get a large container of water and submerged his feet in to relax, and got a field grade article 15 and lost his rank in the process.
I can give examples all day long. It's not the point that females or males make mistakes. It's how it's addressed by the highers.
What I said is my personal opinion, and that's all. It is based on my experiences. I am just saying, I never was in a unit where, having females was awesome. There was always some sort of conflict/drama because of it.
Sgt me says, " I don't like Spc. SoandSo, I want to go to a different squad." The answer I would get is, "suck it up puu55y." Fine I agree, too f'ing bad.
Spc Female, " I don't like pvt douchebag, I think he's a mean guy." Ok, let's move things around. "Is that better Spc Female? Would you like to visit the chaplain?"
