whats the best mountain in the Tahoe area for skiing?

What kind of skiing are we talking about? I like Alpine for the steep stuff and Northstar for everyday groomers and park, plus its convenient. Sugarbowl is also fun on a pow day.

Alpine and Kirkwood seem right up your ally! Here are a few pics from Kirkwood:

Went down to Kirkwood to train the pass office and to get a few laps in! Sorry, these are iPhone pics. By the way, all pics are of inbounds; except for pic 2, that's desolate wilderness.

At work we got about 14" but it seemed like town got close to 18"! Another 4-8" tonight, 8-12" tomorrow and 3-5" Sunday night here in town with much more at the resorts! Pics coming tomorrow. Monday should be EPIC!! When are you heading up Mike?

I am going to try very soon after the new year. Might be heading up to Oregon to hit Bachelor up in the end of february too.
