I was thinking something similar to this however, my idea would be get everyone a one on one secret Santa like usual, then back in the hat for everyone. Draw one name whom gets EVERYONE to throw $5-10 into a pool (including that person so they didn't know they were the one) for a gift card to a vendor/sponsor or something similar. Pick a handful of vendors and either have a vote for which one to use or once the winner is announced, they get to pick what vendor they want the card from. This way, everyone gets something from their secret Santa, everyone only has to throw a couple extra bucks in and 1 person gets the "grand prize". Heck, just where we are at right now with people, if everyone just put in $5, the card would be worth $185. I know I could get a few things ive been wanting with that. Maybe some of the vendors would be willing to throw a little extra on top or add an X% discount or something as it is for xmas and secret santa.

Just a thought. If this is something that people want to do, I would be willing to handle this portion of it as I'm sure momo.75 already has his hands full. Lol

It doesn't matter to me but i wouldn't want to be in charge of all the money. Whoever is in charge of the money would have to be excluded from being able to win.

How about instead of one of us getting two gifts, have him make a donation on behalf of T4R.ORG to Make-A-Wish or similar.

Unfortunately, whenever someone does this, the mods tend to delete/move the thread to the off-topic section. I've tried doing that the last couple years, and there's always the one mod who moves it.
