Seriously, the One Millionth 5th Gen will be sold in three weeks. Beuller?
The 5th Gen 4Runner has sold more units than the 1st, 2nd, & 4th Gens combined.
Uhhhh... am I reading the chart wrong? 3rd+4th gen totals 1.2million and 5th gen is 1.0million.

WOW! Record sales in October ... yet there's a shortage of 4Runners? Something doesn't add up. How can lots be so short on vehicles and yet still record the 5th best sales month in the 12 years the 5th gen has been on the market?
My understanding from a recent conversation with a Toyota salesman is that 4Runner production really hasn't been hit yet and they're being sold while still in transit because of the crazy demand.
Interesting, sales collapsing back to ~2014 levels. Have to wonder if how antiquated this vehicle is combined with rumors of a new one coming have finally taken its toll. Perhaps the Bronco is cutting into potential sales some also.
