Hah, thanks guys. I'd love to see this thread made into a sticky because I love looking at other peoples' wheeling pics as much as I like posting mine. If just one person looks at this thread and decides that wheeling 5th gens looks like fun and tries it then mission accomplished.

I like the top one but the attention is brought more to the gorgeous scenery then your truck.

Awesome, that's actually what I was going for. Wheeling is tons of fun, but the places our trucks take us are amazingly beautiful too.

I love the one with sunset. That one takes the cake. Missing those 3 cables would just be icing on top of that cake.

Thanks. If I had any Photoshop skills I might try to take them out. At the same time the name of the trail is Powerline so anyone around here knows exactly where I was when they see the lines.

What a difference a week makes. Went back to the same area as last week and there was a ton more snow. Turns out there was a heavy snowfall warning for the area and the highways were in really bad shape too. We ended up having to wait beside one highway for over an hour on our way home because it was shut down due to a bad accident. Luckily we all made it there and back in one piece.

Lots of snow, but it wasn't very cold at all. -2C or so most of the day. Ok, that may still be really cold for someone used to San Diego weather.

[MENTION=66300]Intruder[/MENTION] I really enjoy your posts. You take good pictures and are having fun too! Off roading in the snow has unique challenges (can't see underneath lol) and on top of that it's slick too. I went up to a stream last week. No big deal except the last mile was frozen, smooth mud. Go to stop and slide until you hit something with a tire. Challenging to say the least because you had to drop right side tires off the road to get any traction lol. Anyway, good pics!

I'm with you. It was 70º just a few days ago here in the SF Bay Area! People go crazy here if it "dips" below 60º. Sure does look fun though!!!

Having a 4Runner in the Bay Area would be pretty awesome in it's own way though, I have never been to an area with more varried outdoors activities. Would love to live there!
