Official 5th Gen T4R Off-Road pics

This past Saturday I went with a buddy to Peters Mill in GWNF. I have a mostly stock 4runner, except the Duratracs, and my buddy has a Jeep Sahara with 35s and a 3inch lift. It was my first time taking my 4Runner offroading and didn't have any issues.... good time all around!

Looks good and no pinstripes neither. Good Job:trophy:

There are slight pin strips, but that is to be expected.... and yes still have the stock running boards. In time I will switch them out for probably budbuilt sliders, but I am more focused on getting my lift first

I meant they are not damaged :wink2: They are usually the first casualty of going offroad.

Ahhh... well I hope to prolong that as long as I can lol. However Peters Mill is rather tame for the most part.

I like this idea a lot. Wouldn't add a ton of weight and would give me a better departure angle. I do need my truck street ready though so I'd have to paint the black plastic body color. I'll need to price this project out.

You can order them to match any color Trail Editions come in, which is all but white. The back parts will be plain black, but the side above the bumper will match. The bumpers get scratched anyways, so no sense painting the stuff that gets scratched.

IIRC the 2010 4 cylinder models were also like the TE bumpers, but with even less paint, which might make them cheaper.

Some pics from Whipsaw trail. We left Calgary at 6am July 20th and drove the scenic route to Princeton B.C. Once we got there we hit a last fuel stop and drove to the trailhead where we camped for the night. Next morning we hit the trail...

I run them as low as 12 psi on snow and stick with 15 for rock crawling. I have a full size spare and know how to reseat a bead on the trail so I'm not too concerned.

Cleared the rock face without touching a skid or slider if I recall correctly. I think the DCLB Tacos scraped on it though. It was more of a steady momentum climb and the rear suspension unloaded as you crested so that might have lessened the chances of scraping. For anyone curious about it, it's the Janzen memorial rock.

Meet up with a TacomaWorld guy today

Pushed my truck hard and finally got to test the new set up.

Got a little trail damage as well but nothing serious:
-Small rock rashe on (2) wheels
-Small gouges in front bumper
-Nice size "gash" in front skid plate (nothing some spray wont cover)

Where did you guys go? Looks like a fun spot.
