What is that, an old jeep?

That is a late 70s early 80s Jeep Gran Cherokee. Those suckers were tanks, most had v8s and 4 speed transmission. I have driven a number of these things, and my neighbor has one that is in great shape.

Can I ask you, what is this that is pictured above? I can't quite figure it out, because it seems like a natural rock formation, yet when I look at it closely there's brick walls inside of it?

No, that was a year ago back east. It was stupid, not even on a trail, just a dirt road. I crested a hill to find a 5 foot deep hole that had been washed out with rock on the sides, which took my left front wheel and everything attached to it. Wheel and tire, upper and lower control arms, entire steering rack, etc. Only thing not replaced was the hub, which now the bearing has gone bad.

Wagoneer not Cherokee but you had the year right, it's definitely a 70.
