If you have a list going for the next CVT group buy please put me on it... Planning a 10 day camping trip through the 4 corners area in October so I figure August would be a great time for the Group buy if possible[emoji51] (just saying)

I too must join the fleeing masses and drop out of this group buy. My vacation is coming up shortly so I ended up getting a hard top tent to use for the summer. Hopefully I can get into the next one.

Our tent is working out great! Thank you for organizing the group buy.
We picked up our tent in Bend, installed it in the parking lot, stayed in it that night and then a few weeks later left on lengthy road trip we've been planning for a while.
We just got home today from a 6000 mile, 26 day road trip through 11 National Parks, 9 states, 2 dogs, 2 humans, and one really dirty 4runner. We did a lot of driving on dirt roads. In every formal campsite we stayed at, someone stopped by to ask us about the tent. Here is our campsite in the Valley of the Gods, Utah:

Not sure what happened to this group buy, but I got my tent along with a few others up here in AK after talking direct to CVT. The shipping was eventually sorted out by the folks at CVT and they saved us all about $250 each by group shipping, well worth the wait.

The install was pretty easy despite there being a few self tapping screws left that I have no idea what to do with. The deployment of the tent is super simple but the closing is a little tougher due to the thicker summit series fabric and that fact that the added condensation pad blocks the velcro that is supposed to hold the mattress down during closing which causes it to bunch up and make the roof fabric not pack up nice and neat between the aluminum sheets. I cut a slit in the matt to push the velcro through in hopes that it will keep the mattress and pad tighter during closing but it doesn't seem to be working. May have to add a retaining strap inside so it'll fold up easier. Everything buttons up under the cover and it is surprisingly airy even with the fly attached. The LED is super bright but I don't need it up here since the sun doesn't really set for the next month or so. The only thing you need is a level parking spot and a step stool for folding and installing the metal fly rods and you're set.
