yes it is. a lot of stimulants give you the runs. one of the most popular ones being coffee. And giving that i dont drink much coffee, and just started using a pre-workout, my body hasn't adapted to the stimulant. its very normal.

Runs every 10 mins after preworkout is unheard of.

pretty quiet in here:D

cutting has been awesome, 20lbs so far and 3.5%BF.
I broke so many PRs it's rediculous.

I'm quiet because I'm not doing any thing other than wallowing in self pity. Too long I've been having pain and stiffness in my right hip/lower back. However, that's about to change!

I've been to countless doctors, I've been to specialists, I've been to the Chiropractor, and I've been doing physical therapy. Doctors & specialists have been worthless - "Take some muscle relaxers & don't lift heavy anymore." Never once took me seriously and acted like I was a fool for powerlifting. My chiro & physical therapist, however, encourage powerlifting and my PT came up with an idea. My pelvis likes to tilt - probably because of bad sitting posture at work. The Chiro can sometimes straighten it up and relieve pain temporarily. My PT, who mainly does deep tissue massage but can also do certain manipulations, one day decided to "set my hip". I noticed immediate relief when he was done and asked him if there was any way I could do it at home.

His solution was this:
Giant Rubber Band

Basically, I tie it to something stationary, hook it around my ankle and use it to traction my leg. It brings me a bit more relief each time I do it. I can bend over and touch my toes with my legs straight again (something I haven't been able to do in months). I can pop right out of my chair at work without pain and I can walk/stand for longer periods of time without stiffening up. IT'S GREAT!!!

I should be ready to do something in a week or 2, I hope.

This is Caber tossing at a Scottish Highland games. There are tons all over the world. Just google for a Scottish society in your area and check out their website...tons of fun. There are about 8 events you do. Go to wiki and check out Scottish Highland games...and check out youtube..quite a few vids of all the events there.

That looks like fun and you're a big guy!

I'm back at it, sort of. The traction on my leg/hip is working wonders, but it still wasn't enough, so I purchased an SI belt which is really magical. I can now squat light with no pain while wearing it. I'm hopeful that it will keep things stable enough to heal so that I can get back to the heavy stuff. I can still go heavy when I bench, but for now, it's 135 pound squats & deadlifts & 225 rack pulls until things heal. Then I will ease myself back.

Last night I had a guy ask me for workout tips. He was probably 5'11"-6', 300lbs and said he could bench over 500lbs. For the record, I'm 5'10" and 145 soaking wet. I thought it was pretty funny and completely backwards.
