you should be repping 315 by thanksgiving with that stuff :behindsofa:

puhlease have a little faith in yourself you're stronger than that

Yeah, back in my prime I was doing 185,175,175,165 all for sets of 8, i'm hoping that I can now do 155 by the end of the semester for 4x8 on bench

for pullups i'm hoping to get back up to 3x6 of +45 LBS or 75 in 15 minutes.

for shoudler press I want 3x10 of 50's (DB)

and **** legs

now now, legs are important.

I love doing legs, squat and deadlift is my favorite exercises, i loth arms and ab workouts which is why i never do them, but my arms are still 19 inches lol

Always feels good when people in the gym ask me if I compete

Compliments are always an ego booster. I love when people tell me my arms are big. I'm not a big guy, only 6'1" 192lbs, but I do love the build in my arms!
whats funny is i get the usual compliments from people , but i dont think anyone can compliment like mom.
She embelishes so much, last time she saw me her eyes got all big, she gasped for air and said in spanish " son, your scaring me, your not going to get too big are you?!!" with a worried look on her face... lol .. and im not even that big. 5'6 159#

Hit it hard breh !!!

i only work out for 45min 3x a week.. im pretty busy as well. im curious what my max is , havent maxed in few months.

had a good workout last night after feeling better from the cold, and didnt loose any weight from the loss of calories over the duration of being sick.
Felt strong and got a couple more reps in , didnt expect that.

i practiced form on deadlift for straight 2 month before i put any real weight on it when i frist started. its all about practice. it really develeoped my lats. i use to have 0 lats, now i got bat wings :hat:

I've been feeling like I need to do some cardio, since I'm a bit out of shape and stuff. Problem is, I hate cardio.

Anyway, I've tried this out before and it nearly killed me (in a good way), so I decided to give it another go. Cosgrove's Evil 8. Anyone ever do it?

Quote from Tnation.com:
Here's one of the most effective Cosgrovian complexes:

Deadlift
Romanian Deadlift
Bentover Row
Power Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Good Morning

On round one, perform 6 reps of each exercise, moving from one exercise to the next, never letting go of the bar, never resting. Remember, you'll finish all six reps of each exercise before moving to the next one.

Rest 90 seconds after the first circuit, then perform 5 reps of each in the next circuit; rest 90 seconds, 4 reps of each; rest 90 seconds, 3 reps of each; rest 90 seconds, 2 reps of each; rest 90 seconds, and then do 1 rep of each.

Cosgrove says that the entire workout should take about 12 minutes, not counting the time you spend sobbing like a little girl in a purdy pink dress.

Gave it a go on Monday night and will be doing this on Monday, Wednesday and Friday since I lift on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

so i went and decided to try and go today and it was the most miserable pathetic experience of my life. :pout:

ugh i know but it's frustrating and disheartening -

Pre hand injury

bench - 165x8,175x10,185x5x2,155xfailure
incline DB - 60'sx8x4 50's to failure
tons of cable flies
dips 3x12-15

Today:

bench 145x8x2, 135x5
incline 50'sx6, 40x8x4
incline flies 20x10x3
decline cable flies
couldnt even do dips
