But yea, the laws are weird/confusing at times, so I guess a knife would be a better option. haha I think the ESEE 5 might be a good option, if you plan to whack at wood and self defense. Another combo might be a machete, and foldable saw.

My 23 year old CR Sebenza is my current everyday carry. Has an out of date ATS-34 blade, but it still holds a great edge.

My crkt m16 has been with .me for about 6 years. Has been all over Europe, the middle east these united states and has been very good to me. Only issue i ever have is the belt hook thingie comes loose from time to time. Takes a nice edge when it gets dull and keeps going.

only thing that irked me about the m16 is the blade lock.. i hated it enough that i gave them all away as gifts. Yes, i know i could have disabled them, but they made better gifts to my buddies lol,

Honestly all I see here are kids toy knives.
