Thanks! Hope you see you out there as well. We're not hard to miss, it'll be a couple modded 4Runners or Tacomas.
Ha...we'll be the other modded 4Runner with a modded Tacoma.

I own about a half dozen guns myself. Bought a couple, inherited more. I like shooting and blowing things up. I like being prepared for the bad guys, whom I do see in my travels. I do hunt mulies and black tails.
But I also recognize certain truths, as much as I don't like them. The 2nd Amendment calls for a "well regulated milita." How can that part of the amendment be ignored? Words matter. Those were inserted for a reason.
Can we have a civil debate on this subject? What am I missing?
TIA, BTD
My most recent addition
Browning X bolt 300wm just had the barrel threaded and a muzzle brake added, waiting on my tax stamp...]

I chose it for looks honestly, I couldn't find a side port that I liked, I rarely will be prone in the field, sure it's possible but I'll probably be standing and or resting against something or kneeling. The radial is kinda all encompassing... Doesn't do anyone thing great but overall it's good. And it will reduce a lot of the kick that the 300wm has to offer. A couple of guys told me it's gonna make it closer to a 240, I'll be happy if it makes it like a 273... I was having the barrel threaded for the can anyways and this is just to be on there when the can isn't so yeah the big part is looks.Nice setup all around, courious about your choice of radial brake vs side port brake. Radial is great on a bench, prone in the field is what got me to change to side port. Radials do look better though.
And it will reduce a lot of the kick that the 300wm has to offer.....
Back out in Ellensburg. Barely any wind made banging that 1000yd gong too easy.

What you are missing is an understanding of words; in so far as the context and meaning of the words as written at the time they were written.
I have posted ad naseum about people needing to read the Federalist papers, Washingtons farewell address, etc. But it seems you just want to stir the pot instead of actually put in the work and discuss it in a civil debate fashion.
So here is some stuff to look into, Bodie.
Meaning of the phrase "well-regulated"
The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.
-SO... it means to keep ones arms in good working order, to service them, to maintain them and to keep them in a ready workable state.
You want to ascribe a different meaning to those words, a meaning of a "Governmental body regulating things" which is completely out of context and incorrect.
What's next, Bodie?
I gave myself a timeout from the Internet, ha, and then got the flu. Thanks for bearing with me.
You are reaching, in trying to interpret that phrase. It's like Bill Clinton arguing about the meaning of the word, "is."
I guess the problem is that you don't believe in a changing constitution? I mean, trying to decipher the meaning of the founding fathers based upon non-verified, 200 year old documents is not the most accurate process. They wrote it when the average citizen, even the richest citizens, weren't able to purchase weapons anywhere near today's firepower. So we have to look at intent, which gets messy.
I think the constitution should change with the times. If you disagree, then I guess that means you're opposed to the constitutional amendments, like making beer legal again, or giving women the right to vote?
