Offroad Argument

my dad told me that, then after a year of me beating on it, he bought my little brother a 3rd gen 4runner, and then my mom a 3rd gen 4runner.

He still tells me that though ;):

YES

look underneath!

theyre like tinfoil though. if you plan to wheel for real, you need to step up to thicker skids.

Budbuilt.com for all your skidplate needs.

My Bud's and sliders took a beating this weekend at Crozet, VA and it kept coming back for more. I was able to make lines that solid axle trucks had trouble with because they would get hung up on a diff or something else. The Bud's just took the beating and let me slide over every obstacle I tried. Sliders help as well to keep you from ruining the pinch weld under the doors. I probably would have flopped at one point if it wasnt for my sliders being propped against a rock.

yesterday i removed my belly budbuilt skid because i hit it so many times and so hard that it started to look like a U and actually started making contact with my cat on the pass side.

so i took it off and it took a LOT of sledging to get it to bend back... its still not perfect, but much improved :)
