75w 90 probably would work in everything. I wouldnt FILL my crank with it, but if in a pinch and had NO regular oil, I wouldnt hesitate personally.Any brand....AS LONG AT IT MEETS SPECS. I use Rotella 15w40 in my Harley..OH MY?!?!Dont tell the MOCO. They'd love all the sheeple to believe their 9.00 a qt Harley Dino oil is Light years ahead of anything else on the planet. I know.... the Rotella dont have the purty picture of the motorcycle on the bottle so Im REALLY lucky it hasnt blown up yet. And its only 12.99 a gallon. How dare i use that?? My poor Harley is so living on borrowed time and with one of the "designer" oils i could have gotten atleast 500,000 miles out of it. BTW, I have 80,000 miles on it with never a problem. I dont intend on an engine rebuild anytime soon, either. While certainly not recommended 75w90 is roughly the same viscosity as 10w40. Harley recommends 20w50 but Rotella does not shear and holds its film strength over the life of the oil. Regular motorcycle 20w50 will shear to a 40 weight in no time flat. I know an engineer that works at ***** (left as asterisks intentionally-Very reputable automaker)and says oil is way overrated. He couldnt give specifics, but says an engine can and will run an "exhorbitant" amount of time without blowing up with NO oil. Yes, they do test for things like that. Disclaimer. Just stating my personal experiences and what friends have said. This is not gospel. Please do not run any motor without oil. I wouldnt. Please dont start a "Ban this troll" type thing either. Thats childish. Kinda like not agreeing what someone has to say, because it's not what you think personally. Remember what they thought of the folks who first said the world was round. OMG. Burn em at the stake.
