Oil change recommendation in California

I'm in my 2015 and I'm on the road and will be in California in a week and I am looking for a dealer, preferably one with a "fast lane" dedicated oil change and tire rotation bay. can anybody recommend one anywhere from Sacramento to the bay area or even Los Angeles? Thanks in advance.

They all have quick lube sections, there's something like a dozen just from Sac-town to San Jose if I remember right.

Also stay away from Econo Lube and Tune. They wanted to charge $40 bucks extra to remove a skid plate the said prevented from getting to my oil filter. I said they were full of it and to show me. The guy got mad and told me to leave.

Go to Valvoline instant oil change
you can stay in your truck
awesome procedures and double checks
they give you service recommendations by mileage (get the print out)
everything they do is reported to carfax(vehicle history)

you can swing by for a free fluid top off(up to 1qt oil if needed) or a tire check and fill.

go to Valvoline for coupons at the bottom of the page.

i use 5.5 qts 5w30 Maxlife Synthetic Blend, its about $60(conventional is $40) and the oil is good for about 5000 miles. i always change at 3000 but if i need to stretch a little longer i can go in for a free top off and im good to go!

As much as dealers get a bad rap, - if I wasn't going to do it myself - then I'd take it to a Toyota dealer. More experience with your particular vehicle.

Well, I went to a dealer in Davis, CA. Had to make an appointment, as they would not do a drive-up. I got there at 7am. I'll just paste what I just posted to Yelp right now and you can see what happened.

I am on a long road trip and I wanted to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. I know the new service interval for my vehicle is 10,000 miles, but I'm doing high-mile days - think 700 at a time - I have been offroad, and I was up to 7,000 miles and have 6000 until I get home. For this reason I wanted to change my oil. I made this clear with the intake person, who was otherwise very professional and competent. I explained my situation. I also made sure they would use full synthetic oil. I requested a new air filter, which I paid for, and it was not cheap. I checked the oil today, three days later, and it looked a bit dirty. I looked again at the invoice and saw they did not do the oil change. I called them up to ascertain that was true. I got a robotic guy who gave me the rap about the 10,000 mile interval. The point is, and I repeat, THE POINT IS that I asked for an oil change and I even offered to pay for it if it was not covered. Somebody screwed up, either the mechanic or the intake guy. What does this mean for me? It means I have to take another half day to find a Toyota dealer on an otherwise busy business trip. It means I have to change my itinerary. It means I have to spend more money. I had been happy with the initial service until I realized today that they did not do the one thing I had requested and really needed to have done. I will not go back there.

I'd report this to Toyota corporate and get this settled accordingly.

Why'd it take you 3 days to check the dip stick and look at the service receipt?

.. anyways, sorry about your luck.

I guess I just got a little complacent and lazy. I normally don't check every day on the road, especially right after an oil change. Anyway, it's not the end of the world. I will get one in Albuquerque tomorrow and move on. My other vehicles, I usually use Mobil 1 extended, but I guess I will go with the Toyota synthetic for the moment.

I mean, you could have done it in the autozone parking lot and recycled the oil at the same time which would have taken less than 2 hours (with an hour of that waiting for the engine to cool down enough to do it) They probably would have had something to even drain the oil into. It's not like you need a lift to change the oil, unless you're a big guy.
