It sounds like your oil pressure is going low at lights or at a stop while in gear. Does it do it in park or when the engine is cold? My guess is no. When you floor it on the highway does the pressure go down? When you gun the engine does it sound like someone threw a handful of marbels into it?
If all or any of your answers to the question above are yes. There is a very good chance water(coolant) or something got into your engine an has taken out the bearings. Antifreeze eats bearings. Is there a brown frothy substance on the oil dip stick when you check the oil? Is there oil in the water?
I would first replace the oil pressure sensor and possibly the oil pump. Sensor first of course, if you do not find any of the problems noted above.
Good luck and do a seach you might find some more info.
