oil pressure sensor

hey all. im still new to my 94 4runner.
i broke the wire off of what i believe is the oil pressure sensor while changing my oil filter.
Now the top left gauge does not read anything at all.
I am thinking of just getting a new sensor at the junk yard.
But I have not figured out how to remove the old part from the engine.
How is this done?

edit: BEFORE you replace your sensor, take the rubber boot off of the sensor and see if you just unplugged the wire. The sensor wire should have a spade type terminal on it. If so then it just slides on and off.

no wire plug

doesnt seem to be a plug.
ive looked at all the pics online of replacig this and they all shot a spade plug-in for the wire.
i dont seem to have one.
will try and get some pics in the morning

I believe the 3VZE pressure sensor is the same type as the 22RE SR5 pressure sensor (the spaceship). Does your sensor look like this?

If so, that post on top is the connector, and there's a clip on the end of the connector wire that fastens onto that post.

If you broke the wire, you'll have to splice another connector into your harness. If all that happened is you pulled it free, then you can pull back the boot (if you still have one), reconnect the wire, and replace the boot.

FYI: Ive been through this on my old Toyota........... yes it looks like KidVermicious posted. BUT,
Toyota uses 3 different pressure sensor's for the 3VZE. if you get the wrong one it still wont work. when you go in to them they ask for the Vin# so they can match the part.... Needless to say I bought the cheapest one first about $40 ish. then the second cheapest one $48 ish. But it was the $80+ one that I needed to make mine work.... (I had to go that rout since my motor, guages, & CPU had all been changed.

ended up getting the plug part off the sensor and was able to solder the wire back together.
