Any suggestions on why there's oil all over my plug wires?

I think either a bad PCV or a blown head gasket can cause this. Do you have any other signs of coolant and oil mixing (like dirty, muddy looking coolant or smoke out the tailpipe)?

Spark plug tube seals in the valve covers. Very very common.
Replace the PCV valve and grommet while the covers are removed to insure seal longevity.

Yup tube seals most likely. Pretty much do it same time you do a valve cover gasket change.
Cheap maintanence.

I don't have a picture, but there's one lonely vacuum hose on the valve cover passenger side that I neglected to connect. Where does it hook up to? Pictures are much appreciated.
