Ok a quick question.

Ive searched for an answer but i cant find a specific answer. Im trying to remove my running boards from my 2001 t4r. does anyone have any pics of how to do this? thanks in advance

I dont have any pics but its simple..Just lay under your runner and look at it. You should see where the brackets bolt to the running board and to the frame. Just remove those. Theres I think 8 bolts on each side. 15-30 min job. Good luck. Post some pics in here when your done.

ya its very simple. Once u take off all the bolts hold the running board and pull towards the back tires and then down and itll come right out...

thanks guys. i found the bolts, one just looks like a pin and i didnt know how to remove it, i will take some pics tomorrow when i finish.

would it be easier if i jacked it up? somehow i always end up with dirt in my eyes, and nose and mouth when im under there lol

Fyi i had to cut 5 of the 12 under my rig PB blaster heat nothing helped just be prepared and its a definite on the safety glasses

After much elbow grease and about 45-50 minutes under the car i got them off, i will take some pics tomorrow. I am so glad i took them off looks much better. Thanks for all the help.

its waaay easy once you have a 3 inch lift on there... :thumb3: just motivation to get a lift!
