DOes anyone know where I can find one I've looked but none has a super charger for the 3.0 v6 any help would be great.

Swap the 3.4L and then you could put a supercharger on.

I saw this on another site. It 'has' been done, but I'm not sure what was done to improve reliability. Sure does look nice, tho.

The 3.4 swap would end up costing way too much like 6 grand but i'll look into that turbo and post what I find

The trany bolts to the bell housing, the motor mounts are the same, you can reuse your old raidator, and most other parts come from the doner truck. I dont think it would be a hard swap at all. It should be a reasonable swap if you do the work on your own.
Ya, your pritty much stuck with the 3.slow just the way it is. Not worth putting much money in.

Fully against pumping money into a 3.0 for any reason. The 3.4 swap is not really that difficult, and if you've got smarts, you can get it done without too much out of pocket. I've watched a couple be done fairly quickly.
Plus, if you s/c the 3.4, there's some good power to be had.
I'd say any 3.0 owner wanting more power needs to regear. If that's already done, it's time to get that paperweight out of the engine bay. Same goes for a 22re, to a lesser degree.

There's no point in doing anything to the 3.0L It's a decent engine stock, but once you start messing with things it just doesn't hold up as well. There's no supercharger that bolts on, though some have done a turbo on it. But like Fourwd1 said it's not worth much. Saving up and doing a 3.4L swap will be your best option and best bang for your buck.
i am new to the 3.0 wife had a couple of 3rd gen 3.4 but i never did drive them much
my new shop vehical is a 92 3.0 430 gears and a 5 speed that i just installed a jdm engine in. I have been driveing it for a couple of weeks and i am impressed with the power but a set of headers would make sense to get rid of the stock cross over. this thing would eat any 22re i own
Usually a shop truck is around for 6 to 12 months before it is sold but i may keep this one for awhile
