Ok - I've searched - but how do I replace the brakelight bulbs?

It should be easy, but it looks like the light assembly is not as accessible as later models.

first gen has 6 screws in the lens...... then push/twist the bulb.
then reverse process.


second gen has screws in the3 tail gate aria...

If you're talking about the 2nd gen., fold down tailgate. There are two screws nearest the tail lights, unscrew them and the tail light assembly will pop out.

It should be self explanatory on how to get the old ones out and put new ones in. If you don't know how, have someone in an auto parts store to help you. Afterwards, please invest in an owner's manual. Either the dealership can order you one, or check to see if anyone is selling one on eBay.

Thanks. Its a first Gen and I saw the 6 screws. Just did not want to mess with them if it was not the right thing to do.
