OK to machine wash OEM carpet mats?

I figure the mats should be fine but I'm wondering if it might be bad for a front-loading washer.

I wouldn't... Just use some dawn, a scrub brush and a garden hose

Carpet steam cleaner. Use a commercial unit. Avoid the $100 cleaners.

this. a pressure washer works perfectly if you or your neighbor have one. DIY car washes have 'em and they work wonders. spray 'em with oxi clean or whatever & let 'em soak and have at it.

For anything large, or heavy such as comforters and large blankets, I always use commercial washing machines, even though I have a really nice, large LG front loader at home. I figure it’s worth a few dollars to put the wear and tear on the commercial machine rather than my own, so if I was going to do carpet mats, that’s most certainly the route I’d take...

take it to the laundromat and use there biggest machine on hot water cycle, might as well throw in dirty floor mats and the whole truck carpet.

take it out and air dry for couple of days. vacuum all loose dirt in truck.
