Okay, I'm stumped.....

SO, I recently dropped a rebuilt 3.0 in my 94. While I was switching over intake and assorted parts, I went ahead and put in new multi hole injectors. Truck runs great, with one small caveat. If I drive a short distance, like 3-5 miles, and cut the car off for a short time..... such as a quick run into the store then there is a strong smell of gasoline and the truck wont stay running. I eventually have to have my foot lightly on the throttle to slightly raise the revs, truck in neutral and then easily drop it into drive. Other than that, the truck is awesome, motor with the injectors and Thorley headers are running great. Fresh plugs and wires of course with new motor, NNGK plugs and Denso wires.

Any ideas?

Fuel Pressure. Fuel Pressure regulator. Loose banjo fitting on the fuel lines.
Did you re-use your old crush washers?

I didn't reuse the washers. I will look into the regulator and the banjo fitting. thank you

There are more than one banjo fittings on the two fuel rails.
You should be able to see evidence of some sort of fuel leak.
Also check the fittings to the cold start injector and the injector itself and trace any lines back all the way to the tank.

I haven't had time to check out anything or even time to drop it off for someone to do it for me...... work, teaching and pregnant wife takes up TOO much time lol
