Hey everyone, new to this forum and newbie to 4runners! My wife and i just moved to Edmond and thought we needed to fit in so we decided to buy an SUV! My wife said I needed a hobby so here I am. I've already added some N-fab steps, blacked out the chrome except the roof rack, which may come next getting some Pro-Comp wheels on this week with Falken AT3W, staying with the 265/70/17. I don't see us going off road too much at first. Maybe adding a couple of inches down the road. I feel this is going to be a slippery slope, so I'm treading lightly. Looking forward to taking EmmaPearl out on some light trails and get her feet wet!
Edmond here as well, I just ordered some 5100's and hope to get them on soon. Ill be getting 275/70/17 KO2s on the factory trail wheels for now.
Cool, are you installing them yourself? That's next on my list.

Absolutely, I couldn't imagine paying someone to do something so simple... I have done suspension stuff on 3 other vehicles I have owned (lowered 2, lifted 1 other). shocks/struts and springs are so easy once you get the hang of spring compressors and over the fear of it all blowing up in your face.
I'm pretty new to car stuff in general, but I'd love to come lend a hand so I could see how it's done if you don't mind and if our schedules fit.

Yup think I know you from the ol' IGHey Yall I just got my first 4runner...not my first yota have had pickups and still have 95 Taco. Traded in my 13 BOSS 302 for a 16 Trail ...really happy with it especially living in Chandler with several miles of dirt roads to travel. The BOSS only saw nice days so this is better and I can haul my dogs now. Ive spoke to some on Instagram but thought I would say hi here. Maybe when weather finally warms up we can plan a trip or something.
Future mods for me will be
Canvas Back liner
275 70 17 BFG KO2
ICON stag 2 lift
RCI Skids
C4 rocks sliders
C4 Rear Swing Bumper
You know the list never ends.
