Oklahoma 4Runners

I'm sure there is more trails in the Eastern part of the state than west and central OK. I haven't lived in Oklahoma a real long time so I'm not sure but that is the more rugged prettier part of the state so one would think near Grand Lake and down by Broken Bow there would be something in the way of trails. Across in to Arkansas near Fayetteville might have places too.

No I sure don't this just happens to be one of the 5 days a year I have to go to Tulsa for work other than that I rarely see anything East of my neighborhood. I don't think I have ever been to Keystone, we went to Grand lake a handfull of times growing up I need to go to broken bow . I have never been, the one time I had planned to go down there the place we rented a cabin from called as we were loading up and said don't come they are flooded out and without power

Would highly recommend Broken Bow. Can't remember name of cabins we stayed in down there but they were near the lake. Lots of trails in the area worth checking out.

Moved here from Texas!

Hey everyone, new to this forum and newbie to 4runners! My wife and i just moved to Edmond and thought we needed to fit in so we decided to buy an SUV! My wife said I needed a hobby so here I am. I've already added some N-fab steps, blacked out the chrome except the roof rack, which may come next getting some Pro-Comp wheels on this week with Falken AT3W, staying with the 265/70/17. I don't see us going off road too much at first. Maybe adding a couple of inches down the road. I feel this is going to be a slippery slope, so I'm treading lightly. Looking forward to taking EmmaPearl out on some light trails and get her feet wet!

I'd like to find some light trails my self. I took mine out on some semi rough oil field lease roads in the TX panhandle this weekend it wasn't bad. It was roads I knew I wouldn't get in trouble for being on but I don't know where to go around here.

Cool, are you installing them yourself? That's next on my list.

Absolutely, I couldn't imagine paying someone to do something so simple... I have done suspension stuff on 3 other vehicles I have owned (lowered 2, lifted 1 other). shocks/struts and springs are so easy once you get the hang of spring compressors and over the fear of it all blowing up in your face.

I'm pretty new to car stuff in general, but I'd love to come lend a hand so I could see how it's done if you don't mind and if our schedules fit.

Yeah, we will see how things work out. I work nights in the public safety field, so my schedule sucks when it comes to getting to do things on a normal person time. haha

Hey Yall I just got my first 4runner...not my first yota have had pickups and still have 95 Taco. Traded in my 13 BOSS 302 for a 16 Trail ...really happy with it especially living in Chandler with several miles of dirt roads to travel. The BOSS only saw nice days so this is better and I can haul my dogs now. Ive spoke to some on Instagram but thought I would say hi here. Maybe when weather finally warms up we can plan a trip or something.

Future mods for me will be
Canvas Back liner
275 70 17 BFG KO2
ICON stag 2 lift
RCI Skids
C4 rocks sliders
C4 Rear Swing Bumper

You know the list never ends.
