Old Seats Covers

Does anyone have some old limited seat covers they want to give up or sell really cheap? I am talking about the factory leather, taken off of the seat. Can be in just about any condition...

I want to take a crack at re-creating new covers with some different material and would like to use some old ones as a template. It's a far out idea, and I have no experience with this, but it's something I want to try to do.

I am game for this. I want to say up front, NO PROMISES that I can do this or will succeed, haha. I have never done anything like this so it will be an experiment. If I do succeed, then I will make you a set as well if you pay for material, free labor and such.

My goal is to make a set out of tweed like all the race seat makers do. I want to put black panels on the outside with a tan or grey center down the middle to match the factory color. My wife has a basic sewing machine so I know it will do the cloths, but I don't think it will do leather/plether/vinyl. Let me know what you think and I will send you some cash for a flat rate box!

Ya I've been looking at slip on covers and it's not the way I want to go. My foam needs a little love and I don't want to just cover up the problem with a set of $200-300 covers and have my seats still feel like crap. I figure that if I need to take my seats apart already to fix the foam, it's a perfect time for a re-upholster.
