OME 2 inch lift

With the OME lift/BJ Spacers, will 33x12.5x15 (stock wheels) fit with the OEM running boards in place? I know you guys don't like them, but they're needed.

If not, will they clear with a 285/75/15 on a 16x8 4.5" BS wheel?

Essentially I'd like to know what will fit with the OME setup while retaining the OEM running boards.

I ordered the full HD kit from these guys Old Man Emu 4Runner: 1985+ Old ManÂ*Emu 4Runner Kits and Parts and never had a problem. Just a better stance, better payload, and better acceleration.

Not to drag up an old thread, but do I need to add an extension bracket to the lspv too?

You don't have to, but it'll help keep your brakes balanced front and rear. Most of the guys here will tell you to just delete the LSPV and run a manual proportioner instead, which is a great option - I found it easier to cut a strip of scrap aluminum and drill a couple holes in it. :thumb:

So of course I am developing more on my research and bringing together all the things I will need for this lift. While I am at it i am going to do upper and lower ball joints with tie rods ( all from onlinetoyotaparts.com) cv axles, and the diff drop, sway bar drop kit, and panhard bar braket ( from roger brown). Does all of that sound about right for this ordeal? I want it done right and to last without destroying parts. Any and all opinions would be appreciatted.

If you're going to do all of that anyways, why not buy a full Rough Country kit? Have you priced the difference? RC is 799$

Or has anyone used ome coils with RC shocks. They are only 40$ a piece. I had them on my 09 Silverado and liked them...
