OME 3" lift installed!

Hey all, been doing my homework (trolling) on lift options for a '99 Limited I just picked up a couple of weeks ago. Finally pulled the trigger on a complete OME 881/890 kit from Toytec. I included the top plate spacers and diff drop. Went with 265/75/16 DuraTrac tires. What do you guys think? Anyone here in the Colorado Springs area and can recommend some fun trails?

Cheers!

Nice tires

I have DuraTracs and love them. Check out Trail damage.com if your looking for trails.

There was only one option from the Toytec site.
There is only one option from the drop down menu when looking a the OME kit. Toytec actually has a smaller 1/4" top plate spacer as well. The one that comes with the OME kit is the TOP1-T which gives about 3/4" of lift.

CO_Runner, check out rm4x4.org. Would love to run a trail with ya sometime!

how hard was it to put in? have you flexed it out to see how much flex you got?
Haven't really flexed it out yet, looking forward to doing so!

I actually didn't install it myself. Normally I would have, but my wife and I are in transition (staying with the in-laws now) and all of my tools are in storage. I ended up taking it in to Liberty Toyota, suggested by Toytec, and their "lift" guy did a great job with it all.

So far I'm loving this truck. We also have an '08 FJ, but this thing smokes it off-road thanks to all the diff. lock options. Reminds me of my old '96 Disco... only much more reliable :)

looks good, man, congrads.
I am in the Springs also, some decent trails around, hit me up and lets plan a run soon. The wife and I have been itching to get out.
Invitation open to anyone in or around the area...

Awesome man, looks good!:thumb3:
