OME 880 front 906 rear

Does anybody have these coils along with 265/75/16's I am not sure if I want these or the daystar 2.5 kit my stock springs seem to be more worn then I originally thought. I just don't want it to look silly with 265's I don't plan on 285's

daystars + worn coils = a lift on still worn coils... I haven't had the 880s, but I have run the 99 coils up front (which is a very similar height) with 906 in the rear. I really love this height for 265's. I would just get new coils since the old ones are shot.

Take a look at my first lift (first couple pages of build thread). I had the 906s and a similar setup in front with 32"s. Do new coils, not the spacer...you won't be happy with them.

I ran 906s in the rear with coilovers in front on 265s for awhile, and it looked fine. I went to 285s just because I found a good trade.

Has anyone put the daystar 1.5" spacer on top of 906s? I might try this (I already have the spacers), but I'm worried then I'll be into PHB drop bracket territory...which I was hoping to avoid.

I have the 880/906 on mine. If money would have been no issue, probably would have gotten adjustable fronts with the 906 rears but no issues with the current setup.

Here's mine with 881's and 906's. I also used two 10MM trim packers with my 906's, so my set-up will be slightly taller than 880's/906's. I have 265's and it looks pretty good to me.

So you did 2 trim packs on each side or just one per side?

My thing is I want it slightly higher then a stock 99 highlander and a little rake won't bother me just not sure which combo is gonna be best for 265/75's

Two on each side. I have a slight rake now and I like the stance. But remember I have 881's which are suppposed to be slightly taller (+/- half an inch) than 880's.

Well after hours of google pics and much debating I am going to go 881's up front no topout spacer's and 890's in the rear, I figured 880's and 906 would leave me wanting more lift. I am going to keep my 265/75/16's unless they look goofy with the 881's and 890's then I will go 285's, lift and rocksliders and a roof rack will be the last mods to this thing for awhile

Thanks and Yep, that's it, tires and lift. It was a good choice for how I use the vehicle. Plus at the time of install I had to be able to get it into a very short parking garage (6'2" max height). We took a trip recently with 5 people the dog, guns, fishing equipment and all of the luggage on the roof (I have a basket I use sometimes). It came down to a little higher than level and rode outstanding. Again, I chose it based on how I would use the vehicle and the trips I take. If one day that changes I will upgrade again.

I really am happy with the combo for ride and height, it's not too much that I am concerned about my suspension angles, but does give it a better stance. Also, it rides much smoother and I can load up the back end w/o dragging the rear end down. Win win win.

I'm sorry you had to live in Corvallis...

That's just what I am going for. I just want some additional clearance, and new suspension components. 880/906 it is. Thanks for sharing your experience and nice work with your 4Runner!
