OME 883s or Top Plate Spacers?

I have TRD Tundra springs (BY, YY) and got about 2" lift with them. I added an ARB bumper and M8000 winch (about 170#) and the front dropped about 1". I would like to gain back the lost inch and am torn between replacing the springs or putting on a top plate spacer. I don't want to disassemble the struts again if I can help it. I can get a 2" spacer from ebay and cut it down for 1-1 1/2" to get what I need. It's about $60 cheaper (after selling the TRD springs) than the OME 883s but not sure if it's the best route. I'm also concerned that the 883s might give more than I want (2" over stock is what I'm shooting for).

I also have LC springs (orange, orange, white) in the back that gave about 4" lift, which is more than I want. I'm thinking about trading the LC springs for OME 890s. I want about 2"-2 1/2" to match the front. I have about 150# in the back now. I'm adding a tire carrier soon and some other things that will be another 150#. I put 160# on the bumper and it came down 1/2", so it's still going to be higher than I want. My concern is that the 890s might sag with the extra weight.

Any advice appreciated.

isn't picking out a suspension set up fun?

I would say go with the suspension change and not the spacers. I think you will be happier with the ride overall, but that's my two cents.

I have a 98 4runner with a ARB front bumper and M8000 winch also. I had the 883 on with all that for about a week, and it was a good ride. I have since switched out to the 882 because I was looking to get the difference back from when I added the bumper and winch. I still have the 883 if you are interested. anyway I think the 883 will give you about the 2 in you are looking for and still have a comfortable ride.

As far as the rear 890's would work, I have a friend that carries a decent amount of weight in the back between his gear, tire and dogs and he has the 890's. they have not seemed to sag and he has had them on for a while, I bet you will get right about the rear lift you are looking for without any sagging issues down the road.

PM me if you have any questions. I think I took a few pics when i had the 883 on if you want to get an idea of what it looked like or if you have any questions about my two cents.
