It is important to remember that everyone on this forum is an "expert", but only on their own rig.
Each rig is different, especially when it comes to
lift upgrade situations... so I would say your best bet for an experienced opinion is to shop around to one of our sponsored vendors and contact them directly with an educational email (read the tire and lift thread to educate yourself).
In the email describe your truck as it is currently (v6/v8, tires, stock suspension, intended purpose/use after the lift and what side tires you want to install after the lift)....from this you'll probably get the best advice, certainly the most experienced. At best most most people on here have only installed a dozen lifts over the years, but the shops actually install hundreds, maybe thousands of lifts, in various combinations so they can probably give you the best advice.
I took the above route recently with Wheeler's Offroad when ordering the lift for my 2005 sport V6 and Dan gave me some great advice and I ended up trusting his experience and taking his recommendations to get what I wanted. While I haven't installed said lift yet (too cold and no garage), I am confident it will be what I want when I toss it on the rig in the spring.
