OME 906 with OEM shocks

I had my front struts and rear shocks replaced about a year ago. Now my rear sags about 1-1.5" lower then the front. I have looked around this forum and I think I want to install the OME 906's in the rear to get it back to level or slight rake.

My question is will the 906's work well with an OEM replacement shock on a 99 or should I look at another brand? I dont want any lift. I just want the rear back at level.

i will run 906's back, 99's front and billy HD's. would this combo give my 2wd a stiff ride? where do i buy that spacer and everything mentioned at a good price? where do you get your stuff?

That's the exact same setup i have! I have no complaints, it handles really well. You won't regret it
 
I had 906's with stock shocks and '99s up front and it worked pretty well. Doesn't really change the ride, but it sits much nicer.

I now have 880's and 906's with OME shocks and I love it.
 
who has the best price for ome's and HD's? anything else to replace for this upgrade; mounts, insulators, etc? the 99's i can get from the dealer at cost, so i am saving some.

I just ordered my 906's from WheelersOffRoad.com for $160 w free shipping. That was the best deal I could find.

I will post before and after pics when I get them installed.

Toytec is a great place to support and they probably have a t4r discount code somewhere...

please do. i went to both sites and both say 2" of lift. they both have different photos. if i go with the 17's i plan to get that will give me 3" of lift! i don't want that much, 2, my wife will kill me at 5ft tall!:twitch:

So I'm sure you already realize this, but OME 906s will give you (roughly) 2" of lift over a stock height new spring. In other words, if your rear is sagging 1.5 inches below where it was stock because of blown out stock springs, the 906s are actually going to push the rear end up 3.5 inches (2 inches higher than stock). If you run the front at stock height, the 906s will give you 2" of rake.

so with 265/79/17 tires, i'll be 3" taller, correct? at 5"2', my wife will kill me needing ladder to get in! i need something asap as my rear shocks are shot. noticed it today. :Cry:
