I need help in locating someone to install a OME lift kit for me in No. Ca. And what something like this will cost. I talked to a Toyota Tech for some after hours work but he thought it was too much for him. (time wise)..

It does take some time but its not something that will be too tough. Get yourself a bottle jack though. It will come in handy. Write in your probs as they come along.

I am retired, and I don't want to get into something that involved.. I would rather leave that stuff to the younger generation.
I change the oil and the diff's and the xfer and fix a flat tire if I can't get AAA to come out..

I talked to Toyoya.. they will not install non Toyota parts. ARB on their site under find a dealer shows Les Schwab.. they said they would not do it because OME was not insured for product liability and the kits were not that good.. Talked to two different shops. I also talked to a 4 wheel shop, but they wanted about a 30% mark-up on the parts over what I can buy them for plus the labor..
I am in no hurry. I have until next fall when hunting season starts.. I will get it done..

It's a long shot, but did you ever check with the fellas at Bent-Up in Rancho Cordova? My brother has bought many offroad parts from them, but I think they do installs too.
