ok i have been looking at lifts obvisously if u have seen my last threads. anyways i was just wondering if when everybody is talkin about ome lifts are they talkin about old man emu or is it something else. thanks for the help in advance.

yea when i first started trying to lift mine, all i heard was how ome was the only lift kit company that made a suspension for 3rd gen 4runners.

but i beleive performance products does as well, but they are spacers instead which i perceived as a body lift

also just saw Daystar mentioned for spacers in the classified section

anyone feel free to add on here

2) perf. products doesnt make spacers, they make coils
3) there are other coil makers

nope didnt know that, i had a 85 bronco previously and had a 4 inch susp lift and a 3 in body lift and the body lift was made out of 6 spacers that we put in between the body and frame. So when i head spacer i just see a solid block seperating the body from the frame.

so how do the spacers work?

so how do the spacers work?

a body lift does consist of putting a solid block to raise the body from the frame as you said, but what is referred to as a "spacer lift" puts a spacer at the coil, raising the truck up from the suspension up... nothing to do with raising the body off the frame.

so a spacer lift would only consist of 4 spacer mounts and 4 longer modded bolts then correct?

so i guess my next question would be is can i put a spacers lift with a coil lift and still not have to modify anything if its possible
