So last fall I bought a clear plastic license plate cover with metal trim. It came with plastic screws.

I went to remove the plate and screws today..and snap...snap..both heads snapped off as I was removing them..most of the screw is still in the thread holes...

I've used a drill to slowly drill most of the screw away...

What else can I do???

That's it, drill. Drill here, drill now! :lmao: Use a center punch on the plastic screw first so the drill bit doesn't skip around. I'd also use a bit 1 or 2 sizes too small. This will prevent damaging the threads. After the hole is drilled use an 'easy-out' or even a Phillips screw driver to spin out the remainder.

Extractor Bit

or if you still have part of it stick out, use a plier or Vise Grip.

Vise Grip helped me when I broke the head off a bolt.

Phew! Fixed.

I drilled a hole as close as possible to the threads, then used 2x chrome screws and VOILA...nice and tight and secure!!
