It's great to see there is a 4Runner forum! For the past few years I was looking at buying the FJ, rather then the 4Runner. In part, because the 4R was a bit out of my price range. However, that all changed when we went for a test drive; just no room in the back of the FJ.
Today I drove into Hartford and test drove a 4R; instant love!! I sat with the sales women and the owned of the dealership. They actually gave me the KBB value of my trade and they are going to order the 4R to my specifications!! So here it is:
2012 4R Trail edition: color Black
Floor and cargo mats
running boards (for my wife) I'll end up replacing them in the future..
audio system with Navigation.
If al goes well, they told me that they should have my new 4R within two weeks!!! As far as the price, they knocked off almost 3K from MSRP... the other dealership wanted to give me 5K less for my Tahoe and were almost 700.00 for the 4R, which was a demo with 6K on it....
Needless to say, I am so happy and looking forward to having fun with the 4R!!
Any advice from any of you?? Any of you from Connecticut?
