One car too far

Anybody just watch the show one car too far? Commercials made it seem interesting but it seemed pretty staged. I won't complain about a wheeling show though, even if it was a jeep tj

It was ok. That asian guy was kind of wimpy with outdoor stuff. But cool concept. Looks like they will be using the jeep for the whole show. Wish they would switch vehicle sometimes. You know, like Toyota.

I watched a clip of them making a bridge with a few logs they found which seemed to be pre-cut perfectly for the crossing. I agree with the staged comment.

Well the show kinda ticks me off, where they are driving their are no trails, you can see one clip where they are just romping through dense brush completely destroying a section of once pristine forest. And its a 4 cylinder wrangler open diffs on Dana 35's

I watched some of it lastnight. So much for Tread Lightly. I'm surprised they got the ok with this show.

Yup. That self-proclaimed "wheeling expert" is a re****. I watched part of one show and wanted to kick him in the nuts several times before it was over.

All that one dude ever wants to do is eat... and he does not belong behind the wheels of a 4wheel drive vehicle. However, since he is I'm glad he's destroying a heep rather than a nice Toyota.

It’s hard to make a show about anything that impresses the people it 'reflects'. Ice Road Truckers, Black Gold, Pickers, Etc... The problem is they over dramatize the show to make it appealing to a larger audience. Good concept thou think I will watch the clips on Youtube with music louder then there speech.

The WTF moment for me came when the guy with the winch line wrapped around him fell in the crevasse. After he was winched out the driver offered his body warmth by unzipping his already too little jacket and inviting him in lol So Gay

I thought the glacier (volcano?) episode was pretty indicative of why we choose Toyotas over Jeeps. He said it pretty well, there was nothing crazy that should have caused the axle to break. I'm not some kind of anti-America person or anything, but American cars are pretty terrible. There's a reason the automotive industry is in such a hole.

yup i agree, i watched it as well.. ****ing irratating..
bad name for the Asians..

a show with lots of potential.. but had to be crap.

Yeah I agree this show is just another staged show from Discovery. It's sad to see them continually go in this direction with their programming, although I probably would watch it anyway if they featured a Toyota.
