so when I come to a semi hard stop one of my wheels will just lock up to a skidding halt. I don't lose control or anything and I still stop fine but its kinda weird. I just bled all the brakes

is it the front or the rear?Air in the line could cause this issue. if you bled the brakes then that should solve it. but could be other things.
if its a front could be the caliper pin frozen . or the brake line disintegrating internally. in the rear could be brake cylinder, e brake cable too tight.

well im not sure what wheel it is just yet. I just bled all the brakes now when I brake hard it pulls to the left like the disc is grabbing more then the other side. I need to look into it but im busy at work all week

I have a similar problem with our 1998 Ltd. The front brakes will stay on, both of them. You can still drive but after a 1/2 mile they start smoking. My daughter was following me, I saw smoke, and we stopped right away. The front brakes were dragging hard and smoking hot.

It went away after 10 minutes. But it just happened again in the driveway. Both front brakes dragging a lot.

The vehicle has no stability control so theoretically it can't put on the brakes by itself. ABS can only reduce brake force, right?

It's possible that both issues above could be caused by sticking and/or stuck calipers.

OP's issue sounds like it could be due to one caliper on the front being stuck, so it doesn't do any braking anymore, leaving the other wheel to do all the braking.

Issue right above here could be caused by sticking calipers - the pistons have a lot of resistance to moving, so once they've moved and shoved the pads onto the rotor, they don't want to retract like they should, so they stay pressing against the rotor until they wear down a little. And they'll be OK again until they get shoved against the rotor again.

You can take the front wheels off, and then gently pry the pads back, to make sure the calipers are not sticky.

If the pads are being held against the rotor, you can verify it's a sticky caliper and not a hydraulic issue (bad M/C?) by opening the bleeder valve, if the caliper stays stuck, it's the caliper itself, if that releases the pressure then something further upstream is causing issues.

I suspect a leaky axle seal. pull the rears and check them.
