one touch trunk close

I noticed that the 5th gen t4r doesn't have the one touch trunk close. Is there any aftermarket control out there that would allow us to do so? Thanks

Yep, there's actually a product made by Toyota that has exactly what you're looking for.

It's called a Sienna. :thumb3:

My largest gripe with the 4r is no power hatch. Followed by no air through seats/perf leather, then HIDs. Honorable mention no memory seats, mast ant. I would've gone for the gx had it not been for the ridiculous barn door and no need for v8. Plus, the 4r looks much better, imo.

That's pretty funny in a mean way.

Yeah you don't want that crap. My mom's RX has that auto-close thingy and because it's Toyota, it MUST HAVE a beep. That stupid thing beeps like a garage truck is backing up. Ridiculous. Grab the handle and slam her shut.

Agree, my wife would love this...also I don't understand how a 40k + car doesn't have memory seats, that's my biggest gripe!

Yeah its called stop being lazy and move your arm 2 f-ing feet and pulling it closed. Soon you'll want the doors to open and close for you as if your the queen. And dont give me the "im carrying a baby" bullsh*t, ive done more times than imaginable and ya know what, in order to auto open the hatch you need to press a button, if you have a free hand to press a button then you have a free hand to open/close the hatch. I really hope this thread is a joke. Like really, your b*tching about having to open/close a tailgate that has struts that absorb all the weight of and require almost no energy to move.

That's why I put my wife in a Tiguan! She calls the Trail the Beast. I give you the point about memory seats though.

... Wow. And to think you don't even HAVE a 5th Gen! Guess that's why you're soooo upset. :)

We must be long lost brothers or something. I have exactly the same list in the same order as you.

I think it's because in T4R case 40k+ was spent on some funny things such as offroad capability, strong frame etc.

I agree as well. I am in and out of my truck all day and opening and closing that trunk does become a pain in the b@lls, I don't care what "back to the future" spits.
