I was listening to my AV receiver (Onkyo TX-SR603X) when all of a sudden it shut off, I think due to it becoming too warm. It's cold outside now so I had the heat on. Anyways, I followed the instructions in the manual, unplugging all of the wires, cables and waiting an hour before turning it on again. It will not turn on now. When I plug it in and press the on button nothing happens.
I was able to find two fuses in the receiver, they are located right on the circuit board that is close to the power cable. How do I know if they are blown or not? One fuse looks good, with no broken wire however the other fuse has a small ball on the wire (never seen that before), does that mean it's blown? If not, what is the next step for me?
