There has been interest in doing a yearly T4R badge, which is always fun. I did last year's T4R design, found here, just to get the ball rolling but lets see what designs we have floating around in our heads out there. Once we have the designs, I'll post a poll. Majority vote will choose the design for this year and then I'll make 'em up. Experience tells me they'll run around $35 depending on the intricacy of the winning design.
The open call is closed and the poll is up and running.
Some guidelines for the designs:
Submissions can be a black and white sketch on a napkin, or a technicolor Photoshopped masterpiece. As long as we can get the idea of the design, submit away!
The designs should be for badges of any shape, roughly 3" in diameter and have "www.T4R.org" and 2016 somewhere in there.
Something to keep in mind while designing, Each color on these badges is essentially melted enamel filling a stamped depression in the base metal, so each discreet color has to be separated by a section of the base metal. Check out the red in last year's badges for an example. It is completely surrounded by sections of base metal,
Please submit original designs. No derivative designs or designs of others please.
And lastly, I reserve the right to call shenanigans on..well...shenanigans.
