Opinions, OME 882 or Toytec coilovers or....?

I am fighting this question right now also. I need to order something in the near future.

I am wanting the coolers for the ability to finetune/ level out the stance left to right after landing gas tank skid and future dual battery set up. On the other hand is that adjustablillity worth the extra money.

Well, I had them in my Tacoma for a little over a year and now in my 4Runner for about 6 months and have adjusted them exactly zero times.

Guess it's nice to have the option?

That is my worry with them, that I will adjust them once and never again. But then again, maybe thats the point!

And that they look killer!

We'll see what happens in the next few weeks. Having a front bumper made and also finally welding my sliders on. Might need to crank them up a little bit after that.

I don't think you can go wrong either way you go.

Have you ever had anyone try to run 884's or 885's on a 3rd gen?

No. They will not work. The 883 gives 3 inches of lift on a 3rd gen and 1.5 on a 4th gen/FJ. That means you would probably get 4.5 to 5 inches of lift with a 884 and probably more with a 885. But 4 inches of lift on the 3rd gen is maxing out the shock so you will have zero down travel. again, its not going to work.
