The wheels I want for my 09 limited only come in 17x9 and 18x9 sizes.
Two questions; 1. is the 9" width a limitation vs an 8" width? I'm going for a narrow or the most narrow 33" AT or MT I can get under a rough 3" lift with all the help of the trimming posts and a fresh custom bumper.
Options are for 4 and 4.5" backspace.
Secondly - is there a rule of thumb relative to how narrow a tire you can run on a 9" wide rim - for airing down or holding bead under big presure then maybe a more narrow rim? Any considerations to ponder over the inch?
