My last post: one thought might be too get a '10-12 for low to mid 30's and then get an older rig with the rest of your budget to run the beaches. Just saying... Out

Thanks man. That's not a bad idea. I've hit a wall. I can't find a dealer that will sell one at MSRP. I finally got one down to $46,000 even and the total should be about $44,400 with tax. I just can't believe I can't find one for MSRP and I have no intensions of paying over that.

Here is a suggestion that others have done on this forum.

Do not limit your self to your geographic area.
Look in other states on the interwebz....
When you find one, deal over the internet, lock in the best price, secure that vehicle with the dealership, get a plane ticket and go get it!

Others have done that here when the options locally were as yours is....

Maybe I should make another thread if the admin hates off topic since this thread has gotten that way, but that's a great suggestion.

I considered that as well, but when I open up to searching the US I don't know where to start. My search would be super random. Last night I actually considered starting a thread asking folks for dealership suggestions.

I actually bought my last Toyota new from Maryland and I will be exploring that option this week.

If I don't get suggestions here I will try to start another thread OR SEARCH FOR A THREAD ON THAT SUBJECT ALREADY STARTED FIRST.

Totally didn't even notice the stitching yesterday when I picked it up. It's much more subtle than the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Didn't notice until my wife asked me on the phone as I was driving it home. I looked at it and said, "I didn't even notice it until you just asked me."

I can't remember who said it at the beginning of this thready, but you were right.
