Ordered new 05 Runner this morning

Well I finally did it, its now on order!!!!!

V8 sport Galactic Grey Mica/Dark Charcoal, with the JBL single disk 10 speaker, Double Decker trunk thingy(for the wife) ash tray(for the cell charger) DRL(for the hell of it) Yota all weather floor mats and the TRD/Borla exhaust with teh TRD Air filter. She had to get in touch with Jacksonville, Fl. for the price and estimated ship date. Should be bout 29K, and yea I have a connection with yota, as an example the TRD/Borla is only costing me $579.00+tax

Congrats, I know you have been looking & hoping the V8 will have varable valve timing. It looks like the V8 will be a bit late, but it should be worth the wait.

you don't need an ashtray for the cell charger.. there's a power port in the console, even without the ashtray.

There's been some debate whether or not the TRD exhaust is made by Borla. I don't think we ever came to a final conclusion - but either way that's a great price for the Borla exhaust. Any possible way you might be able to hook me up with one for that price?

occording to the info I got on the 04's (from southeastern yota) (through my conection)) options it lists TRD/Borla. and yes, i might be able to get a few, however they will have to be shipped to the dealer in mobile al, and then ups'd out. I will ask here next time I talk to her, she said that she can also get anything yota at much lower costs, ie superchargers ect

That's awesome, I hope they bring back the supercharger for our engines too!

I'm on deck to buy, just waiting for the 05's to appear. Wow, your SE is setup almost exactly like I suspect mine will be (SE, V8, JBL, Grey, etc.)

Did you get any info about delivery date? I see that the Toyota website says "Available January 2005" as a note on the V8 option. Did you receive a more optimistic date? (I really hope the answer is yes )

Yeah, Destin is really nice - I always encourage people to check out the Gulf Coast/Panhandle area of Florida, especially if they've only been to the east coast.

I'm actually in Vilano Beach, just north of St. Augustine, and 30 minutes south of Jacksonville, on the east coast. We're a couple of blocks between the ocean, and the intracoastal, we love it here!
