Ordered Wood Dash Kit

I also ordered a wood dash kit this week. They have made the adjustment for the Limited heated seats and the kit is ready to go. I went with a B&I kit because it had pieces to cover all of the Limited's granite pieces. It should look great, I will post pics once I get it installed.

Here is a link for B&I http://www.bitrim.com/entry.htm

Go to flat kits, then to Toyota. It seems like nice stuff. I'm told this is what the dealer uses and charges $800+ for.

Cheers,
Roy

Real Wood?

I have been thinking of getting a dash kit for my 2001 4Runner. I saw this kit on a second generation 4Runner. It is made of real wood, does any one have experience of using real wood as opposed to simulated wood?

Hey Peter,

That's who I ordered my kit through. They resell the B&I kits. It looks great and realy dresses up the interior. I went with the medium burl, they said it is the most popular type and color of wood. I'm hoping to install this weekend.

Cheers,
Roy

I thought the two web sites looked similar. Your going with the simulated wood right? Let us know how it comes out.
