Hi,

I plan to use this post as a placeholder for any mods I do and document any work I do with pics and writeups. I know this board has helped me with my limited mechanical experience and knowledge time and time again.
So hope you enjoy it and will post pics soon

AIRAID Jr. intake installed

Pretty easy install so I really didn't go into detail, basically if you can turn a screwdriver and reattach hoses you can handle this...basically anyone

I cleaned the throttle plate and MAF sensor while I was at it

Basically the big result is cleaning up your engine bay, other than that it's got a louder sound when you hit the gas haven't noticed much gain in hp or anything, but I didn't really expect to,

Here it is with the stock silencer:

NEXT up will be Corbeau seat install

Also probably will start painting the dash and interior plastic pieces between now and when i get the seats in

A**holes talking S***:loco: easiest way I can say it.

OK.

Nice 4Runner, OP.

I shouldn't have asked what the deal was with the other guy deleting his threads all over the place, but since he kept deleting all of his threads I couldn't ask in those.

It just seemed really,,,, weird..

Carry on.

:peace:

Clean 4Runner! Your paint looks a lot better than mine. I am down in the Springs, we should hit up a trail sometime this summer.

Thanks! the picture makes the paint look better than it really is, it's got some scars. Cool, definitely should hit a trail

Dang, what do you use to clean your engine bay? Haha mines a wreck and every time I spray it off I end up getting water in where the spark plugs go.

I use simple green and spray on some shop rags and wipe it down. If it's really dirty i'll put some rags over places like the alternator, battery anyting electrical, spray on some simple clean or engine degreaser and then spray it lightly with a water hose.
It's dirtier than the pics are showing i just hit the 'high spots'
