Outer edge front tire wear?

2016 SR5, 2wd with 33k miles. Tires rotated every 10k.

At about 7k miles I swapped the OEM struts and shocks with the complete TRD setup for the sole purpose of stiffening up the suspension so it doesn’t wallow as much and the 1” front height increase. Added spacers to the rear coils to level it front and back.

Recently noticed both front tires have more wear on the outer edges. Tires were rotated at 30k miles so the fronts have been on for only 3k miles and I don’t notice any similar wear on the rears which were run from 20k miles to 30k miles on the front.

Can’t feel any alignment issues when driving, doesn’t pull to one side and tracks straight with hands off the steering wheel.

Could this be caused by raising the front up with the TRD struts and springs or is this more likely an alignment problem. I wouldn’t think at 33k miles there would any issues with wear on ball joints or other suspension/steering components. Being a 2wd, no off road or hard driving conditions other than some smooth sandy dirt roads.

Any suggestions as to cause and fix before contacting shop?

You probably just need an alignment. Your lower control arms are pushed and angle down more due to that 1" lift.

If you didn't' get one when you changed the suspension you need an alignment.

When you change your ride height, you change the geometry of your steering and suspension pieces. You need an alignment.

Too much toe-in.....gives you good ''on center'' feel but eats the outer edges. Need an alignment.
